Today at work was the best.

Well, it wasn't, but it was alright.

I remember this young couple came in. The girl was a cute blonde who reminded me of the lady from High Fidelity (Iben Hjejle, apparently), but the guy... I looked at him, and he smiled, and I instantly fell in love. Well, not quite, but... He looked sorta like Jude Law, only better. Like if Jude Law was a large, beautifully-constructed mansion and someone moved in and decorated, and it looked pretty good but nothing special, only because the underlying architecture was so good, and then someone moved into the identical mansion next door and decorated except it was great decoration that really brought out the beauty of the house and in fact the neighbour's house looked pretty crap next to it, and you felt annoyed at them for not taking advantage of the great house they had. He made Jude Law look bad. He made you think "Man, Jude Law is actually quite ugly."

...er...

I mean, I didn't fancy him in a gay way, just a "damn, I bet he just looks at girls and they turn to jelly and want to be in his big strong arms."

...yeah.

When I gave him his change, he smiled again, and I turned to jelly.

Additionally, I was reading TIME, and there was a feature entitled "Next time you're in... Tokyo". And as you know, I will just happen to be in Tokyo in a month or two. Apparently there is a store called Uniqlo UT that is basically a big shop full of vending machines selling t-shirts in nifty tube-like canisters for low-low prices. Expect me to send you a whole bunch of them when I'm bored.
