So if you meet me, have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste

Went to see Will Smith and Smith Jr.'s new movie The Pursuit of Happyness. Based on a True Story. It's really good: not a classic or nuthin', but still enjoyable to watch. And uplifting. I want to grab my opportunities and whatnot. And have an son with an afro.

Also hired A Scanner, Darkly (the book) from the library. It's good stuff, but I really should finish Catcher in the Rye first. Goddam.

Game have a nice deal on where I could get Call of Juarez and Sturmovik 1946 for £25, or £14.99 each, whereas at Gamestation they're £30 each. Unfortunately I have no money, and I need to go paintballing, so I will sell some old games at Gamestation, who are generally better than Game but in this case more expensive.

Wow, 9/11 tomorrow today and no one seems to have remembered. Four whole years? It seems like longer.

County map
I've visited the counties in yellow.
Which counties have you visited?

Wow, and am I that badly travelled?

Saw the 40 Year-Old Virgin today. You'd expect it to be 120 minutes of "lol you're a virgin" jokes but it was actually surprisingly sympathetic to the plight of Steve Carell, and most importantly it was actually very funny, unlike a certain other wedding-based romantic comedy this year. The ending was kinda silly, but I'll let it pass.

There was probably something else I was trying to remember but it doesn't really matter, probably.

So after Doom (which will probably just be Resident Evil: The Movie: On Mars) and Hitman (which... probably won't be any good) they're making Halo: The Movie. And message board denizens are already suggesting Jason Statham should be Master Chief, despite the fact that a) message board denizens suggest Jason Statham for every video-game film, for some reason and b) Master Chief wears a rather obscuring suit of armour that makes discussion of actors rather pointless. I know it'll end up cancelled/crap/totally different, but then I visualise The Silent Cartographer in awesome real-life-o-vision, and think: oh please let this rock.
